Chicago is great. Been here for 7 years and I'm still finding new things. Looks like you took the Metra train, I take that everyday to/from work out in the suburbs. Glad you had fun!

Way bummed that I missed you on this trip...you'll just have to come back another time.

Love the shots...the skyline shot is a tiny TINY bit crooked...straightening in LR is super easy. You might want to give it a tiny tweak. Or you might want to tell me to go to hell.

The suitecase lock photo is astounding. Love it.

I think you are being way to hard on yourself. You have some amazing pics this week! The one of bay is gorgeous and the two flower ones have great perspective and detail. I also really love the peacock shot. Hang in there!

I really like the blades of grass one. I like how you can see the different yellowish hues in the blades.

I love being a redhead, too and go in every 5 weeks to get mine touched up - yes, every 5 weeks, or my gray roots show. But hey... if that's my major self-indugence (no mani-pedis, brows, etc), it's not too bad. Of course, it is $100 per pop, including tip. Sigh. But without it, I'd be silver all over and that just won't do! Have you tried henna on your hair? I don't know how effective it is on chestnut, but it worked really well when I was just a dull dishwater color.

PS - I also started a blog under the same name as my flickr id - I hope I can get it to look as good (and as widely read) as yours. :o)
